About Us

Brampton Festival Singers Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the performance of excellent classical and popular choral music. Founded in February 1985, it was incorporated in June 1989. We are dedicated to sharing the joy of music with the community.  We sing a variety of music from classical choral to more contemporary popular music.

We have two major concerts per season, one in December and the other in June to end our season on a high note of what music we work on during the year. Each concert has a theme behind the music.

Our most recent concert held on Dec 4th 2022 involved music with an angel theme. Songs such as “An Angel to Watch Over Me” and “Angels We Have Heard on High” were presented in a four part harmony arrangement. This was our first in person concert since the start of the Covid19 pandemic! What a joyous occasion!

In June 2022 we had a virtual concert where there was a focus on Indigenous cultural stories and songs of Mother Earth. Songs Such as “The Red River Valley” and “Saskatoon Moon” are just a few to name a few that were included. Our concert was recorded on June 8th 2022 at our rehearsal space and presented over Zoom on Sunday June 26, 2022. We would like to thank The City of Brampton for helping fund this concert through the Advance Brampton Fund.
